On Thursday a very dramatic event happened in my life. The motherboard in my computer died...my computer is completely unsalvagable....(is that even a word?). It was a dark day in the Tamez home. I felt like Carrie Bradshaw in Sex in the City when her computer died and she thought her life was over. I am mostly upset about losing all the scrapbook photos and scans that are on the computer although I do have them backed up on CD's...somewhere...it is still a lot of work to put them all back on my computer so they are easily accessible. I was in a state of shock...dealing with my anger, confusion, and frustration...when in true Aidan fashion Adam holds me by my shoulders looks me in the eyes and says..."order whatever you want I just want you to be happy!" I immediately felt better and put a new 17" laptop with the full 10 key pad on order and it will be here in seven days. I am shaking with anticipation...I never knew how much I would miss my computer until I lost it. Now I am typing on my 7 year old PC that grinds when it works but what am I complaining about...it still works.

OK...I know it has been forever but here we go again. I am now happily (after the episodes of uncontrolled nausea, vomiting, and indigestion) { 10 } weeks pregnant. Yeah! Here is the fist pictures of my baby we are calling "beans" because it kinda resembles a bean.

This intravagular (is that the right word?) ultra sound photo was taken at seven weeks...isn't she adorable. My doctor is so funny. While holding up the ultra sound wand that looks strikingly like a "back massager" he looks at me and says..."You want to put it in?" I looked at him laughed and said..."No I think I'll let you do that part." His name is Dr. Bradshaw and I am really glad that I chose him for a doctor. He is rather young...I would say late thirties...so he doesn't put out any of the "creepy old guy vibe".
I also finally...after being sick for three weeks finished my second assignment for craft warehouse. It was a birdhouse that I covered in cork and added flower stick pins for accent and functionality. I also did a layout of Terrance titled "Natural Beauty". I am really happy with the way the layout turned out...especially the letters that spell "Natural"...I stamped them with Technique Tuesday stamps and Cat Eye chalk inks. Here are some pictures. They aren't the best photos...they were taken with my old little kodak camera...my canon was in the truck with Adam.

I also wanted to send a shout out to Jody for waiting so long for her package and for being so understanding and patient about it...yes, I haven't sent it out...until now. That's right Jody...it is on it's way to you and and it is a good size box so I hope you like it. Check back in and let us know what you think.
