I wanted to share with you the new pictures of me last CWDT assignment. They are Christmas Cards and a Gift Tag. I am pretty proud of them because they turned out pretty good and I am NOT a card maker. They sent us this great paper by K and Co. and the embellishments and glitter stickers to go with them. The Felt embellies are the cutest! I used them on the front of the Photo Card and the Gift Tag.

I also found this awesome fabric to make a blanket with for the baby. I think it is unisex...especially with the green fabric for the background. I love the little owls. I am going to make one blanket for me and another for my friend Megan Bennett who is having a boy and is due six weeks before me. I hope she likes it. Maybe I will by some trim with those little green puff balls to sew into the edges...how cute would that be? I will have to check that out next time.

Has anyone had a chance to try that sketch I posted? I think I am going to add some stuff to the layout that I did. I changed the sketch quite a bit so I need to add some anchor to the layout. We will see how it turns out. Please post your pictures to the comments section if you have tried the sketch...I would love to see them.

I was watching A League of Their Own and was thinking about how great of a movie it is. What it must have been like to be a part of that...to experience that. Anyone who has ever played the game would have loved to have been there.

A lot has been going on lately...I am now 17 weeks pregnant and we are getting ready to find out what the sex is...we are changing the color of the kitchen from blue to red...and we are getting ready to put carpet and laminate flooring in the kitchen. Adam is busily working on the house trying to get it ready for the big "arrival" and make sure everything is perfect. I was going to post pictures of the kitchen because it was basically finished but now we are changing the color so it has now returned to "unfinished" status. The funny thing about remodelling is that you think it shouldn't take too long but two days easily turns into two months.

I have also been working on my next CWDT assignment and it is turning out pretty cute. They are cards which are not really my thing but I still think they are turning out cute. I will post pictures when I am done and you can judge for yourself.

Hey...I wanted to post some pictures of my latest work and my last assignment for CWDT since I finally got my Canon software reinstalled. The first two layouts are just for me and I LOVE them. "Two Pink Lines"...I love the title even though my pregnancy test had a blue positive sign. "Waiting for You"...a layout about waiting for "beans". I love the monocromatic theme and the fabric on the layout. I also used the sketch that I posted earlier and have not added a photo yet because I am waiting for a good belly picture...whenever that will happen. The third layout, card, and tag were part of my fourth assignment for CWDT. The fish were a bit of a challenge for me but I love the little yellow circles around "T's" head. I am going to leave the posting challenge about my scrapbook room remodel open until the end of the month so keep posting for that and maybe you'll be the one chosen for the prize.

I wanted to post this sketch I did the other day for my sister because she wanted to use more circles in her work. This sketch is perfect for a layout with pictures and without pictures. Use your imagination and challenge yourself with this one and see what you can come up with.
